## Frequently Asked Questions
### Q: How does IELTS round an average of 6.25 or 6.75?
A: Under official British Council / IDP rules: an average score ending in .25 rounds UP to the half band (.5), so 6.25 becomes 6.5. An average ending in .75 rounds UP to the next whole band, so 6.75 becomes 7.0.
